I am not-your-next-door person.

I hail from India and recently moved to Seattle (2020).

I croon to tunes; capture images; scribble on paper, blogs, design tools; listen to and appreciate background scores; run marathons, cook edible food that people can eat and survive; and love to observe people.

Well, you have been a patient reader, if you reached till here 😛

Some more details:

I am currently a User Experience Designer (Contract role) at World Bank (2019-present), Seattle.

Prior to this, collaborated with amazing folks at FourKites Inc. (2018-2019), Trimble Inc. (2016-2018), Indix Corporation (2015-2016), Tenmiles Technologies (2014-2015), Human Factors International (2013-2014) and Cognizant Technology Solutions (2012-2013)

I hold double Masters – Masters of Music in Indian Classical Music from University of Madras (2015) and a Masters in Business Administration specialising Communication Management from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune (2012). I also graduated with a Bachelors in Electronic Media from M O P Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai (2010).

Musically inclined and I continue to learn Carnatic and Hindustani Vocal Music from eminent gurus. I actively contribute to research and documentation related projects in the field of Indian Classical Music. More details, here.

In my limited available time, I enjoy creating handicraft goodies using paper (quilling) and clay (carving and modelling), run half marathons and bake chocolate brownies.

  3. Hello,
Nice to know you. I couldn’t help but think of Goodbye Strangers by Supertramp while talking with you.
“Goodbye strange it’s been nice, hope you find your paradise
Tried to see your point of view, hope your dreams will all come true ”

While it’s not Goodbye yet, it’s such a pleasure knowing and interacting with you. I bet you are a Capricornian, or at least a cusp between Capricorn and Sagittarius.

  4. Hey, I read your blog and I love how genuine it is. I noticed that you are an alumini of SIMC Pune, the college I aspire to join. Though I am not very concerned on placement stats, I need some proof to assure my parents that after MBA from here there would be nothing to regret.I really want to do an MBA in media and communication or advertising. I do not know many people who did specialzation on the same field. So could you please provide an insight on the career prospects in this field and also ROI after MBA from SIMC. This is extremely important to me. Please help me out 🙂 thank you so much.
